First Nations House Orientation

First Nations House Orientation

First Nations House (FNH) is inviting all students to participate in their online orientation session at the beginning of the 2021-22 academic year to meet new people and learn about the support and services that FNH can offer students throughout their academic career.

First Nations House is a culturally relevant space located at 563 Spadina Avenue (3rd floor) on the St.George Campus where students can go to learn about Indigenous knowledge and traditional teachings, seek guidance and support, attend workshops and events, or just socialize.

During the orientation students will be acquainted with First Nation House employees about their roles and how they can support students on their post-secondary journey. In addition to this, students will be informed of upcoming events, how they can become engaged with the Indigenous communities at the University of Toronto, and more.

First Nations House orientation session will be held ONLINE September 17, 2021, at 3-5 PM.

Traditionally, this event would have been held in-person at First Nations House (563 Spadina Avenue, 3rd floor). However, due to building renovations, the event will be held online this year. When renovations are complete, First Nations House encourages students to come say hello and meet new people, stop in for a coffee, or come relax at the First Nations House lounge.
